PRSA Symposium
Rican Bodies
Virtual Symposium
October 6, 2023
This year’s theme is Rican Bodies.
The symposium will consist of a panel and roundtable. The plenary session will bring together scholars whose work explores questions of movement, movement building, health (in all senses of the word including spiritual, physical, emotional), and gender and sexuality. The roundtable will feature artists, activists and scholars addressing Puerto Rican crip and disability studies and praxis.
We will also be holding our annual business meeting, open to all members.
